Carjacking Suspect Arrested After Leading Deputies On Chase
A man has been arrested after carjacking a driver and then leading deputies on a chase through three counties.
According to the Dunn County Sheriff’s Office, the chase started Friday night at about 7:30 when a Glenwood City Police officer was in pursuit of a man in a black Chevrolet Impala with stolen plates.
An hour into the chase, deputies say the man got into a white car, which was stolen at knife-point in Sherman, Wisconsin. The car owner was forced to drive the suspect into St. Croix County.
The owner of the car was able to escape unharmed at a gas station on Highway 128.
The suspect was later arrested and is being held at the Dunn County Jail.
