Woman Charged With Stealing From MN DMV
A Minnesota woman is accused of stealing from the Minnesota Department of Motor Vehicles.
31-year-old Crystal Wilson, of Deer River, is accused of stealing $5,700 from the Grand Rapids Division of the Minnesota Department of Motor Vehicle.
Prosecutors say Wilson, who was an employee of the department, took the money from vehicle titles paid for by the Grand Rapids Ford dealership. They say the titles were being handled by Wilson, but were never processed.
Wilson is accused of taking the money between November and December 2011. Prosecutors say when the titles would come in she would fail to process a few from each batch.
