In pro basketball, it’s been a breakout season for Kevin Love who has been carrying the Minnesota Timberwolves while all of his top teammates have been falling to injures. Now it’s Love who’s injured and not playing. After suffering an injury last night K love “certainly won’t play” on tonight against the Clippers at Target Center.

Love suffered a minor concussion and neck strain in the first quarter of last night’s loss to the Nuggets, and after staying in a Denver-area hospital overnight, he won’t play against Los Angeles this evening. In fact, Love may not play for the rest of the season as the Wolves are out of the playoff hunt and there are only seven games remaining.

Anthony Randolph stepped up his game last night in Love’s absence and scored 28 points to go along with six rebounds and five blocks.
