The Northern Exposures Photography Club (NEPC) in Mora, Minnesota, is pleased to present “Pictures in Paradise” on Sunday, April 22, 2012, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Paradise Theater, 237 South Union Street in Mora. The event is free and open to the public and the program begins at 2:30 p.m.

“Pictures in Paradise” celebrates NEPC’s 10th anniversary with a show of 600 photographic images created by 30 of NEPC’s members and projected on the Theater’s large screen. The photographers, who come from all over the East Central Minnesota area, have selected some of their favorite photographs for this show. In sharing these images, they are also sharing their personal vision of the world. Favorite subjects include landscapes; close-ups of flowers, birds, pets, and wildlife; sunrises and sunsets; and abstract digital compositions.

NEPC’s mission is to promote an interest in photography and to encourage and support all members in exploring their own creativity through educational programs, monthly meeting, exhibits, field trips, and the sharing of photos. The club meets on the third Monday of the month, with the exception of June and July, usually at the Kanabec History Center in Mora, MN. Anyone, regardless of skill level, is welcome to join.

“Pictures in Paradise” is made possible in part by grant funds from the East Central Regional Arts Council as appropriated by the Minnesota State Legislature.
