MN DNR To Hold Auction For Confiscated Hunting And Fishing Equipment

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is planning to auction off hunting and fishing equipment that has been confiscated for serious game violations.

Hundreds of items will be auctioned off in the sale. Some of the items include: guns, bows, fishing rods and reels, spears, tree stands and ice augers. The DNR will hold the auction at Hiller Auction Service in Zimmerman on Saturday, April 28.

According to the DNR, more than 300 guns will be sold at the auction. Anyone purchasing a firearm will have to pass a background check.
