Crawford Will Run In Newly Formed District 11B

Roger Crawford, who is currently a State Representative from House District 8B, will run for re-election in the fall in the newly formed District 11B. When the redistricting maps were released, Crawford was was paired with incumbent Democrat Bill Hilty in what was formerly District 8A.

Crawford is likely going to face Hilty in what is now District 11B, which covers the eastern half of Kanabec County, including Mora, where Crawford lives and owns an appraisal business. Crawford is also a former Kanabec County commissioner.

Crawford serves on the Property and Local Tax Division, Commerce and Regulatory Reform, Education Reform, and Tax Committees and was elected to the Minnesota House of Representatives for the first time in 2010.
