Mora Mustangs Advance In Section Playoffs (Audio Replay)

Our high school basketball coverage kicked into full gear Wednesday night with our coverage of the opening round of the Class AA Section 7 boys basketball playoffs! Wednesday’s game featured the Mora Mustangs taking on the Hinckley-Finlayson Jaguars.

The Jaguars program continued to make strides in the right direction this season. They finished the season, 11-11. They are entering the playoffs on a bit of a slide, having lost three games in a row. One of those losses was against these same Mustangs last Thursday, where Mora won 72-70.

The Mora Mustangs are 9-18, winning three of their last four games. Last season Mora won the opening round of the sectional playoffs and they are not only looking to match last season, they are looking at making a run in these playoffs.
