Boys Section Playoffs On WCMP-AM: Pine City vs Esko [Audio Replay]

Tonight WCMP will tip-off our coverage of the boys basketball sectional playoffs! Tonight’s game will feature the Pine City Dragons heading to Esko to battle the Eskomos.

The Dragons, who finished the regular season with a 5-21 record, will look to pull-off a big upset tonight when they take on Esko. These two teams just played each other to end the regular season last Friday. The Eskomos won that match-up 82-29.

Esko heads into tonight with the number one seed in the section. They have a 22-4 record and they are on an eight game winning streak. This is also a rematch of last year’s opening round of playoffs, where Esko defeated Pine City 77-52.

Tonight’s game will tip-off at 7pm on 1350 AM, WCMP. If you have relatives out of our listening area, they can listen to our live audio stream right here on our site.
