Wisconsin Police Investigating High School Student’s “Death List”

Thursday, March 1st, 2012 at 10:57 am

A high school student in Wisconsin has been detained by authorities after being suspected of making a “Death List” with the names of more than two dozen students.

Staff at the Sparta School District alerted police after they found out about the list on Wednesday afternoon.

Officers say that the 16-year-old appears to have made the list because he may have been bullied at school. The list also referred to bringing a gun to school. Police believe the boy made the list on his own, and that no other students were involved.

Officers believe this is an isolated incident, and that there’s no danger to other students or staff.
