JOIN THE POSSE!!! A message from the Pine County Sheriff’s Office
The Pine County Sheriff’s Office is looking for citizens to become part of the Volunteer Posse. The Posse is a group of Volunteers in Police Services that helps enhance the capacity of the Sheriff’s Office to provide critical Public Safety services to Pine County. We currently have 40 volunteer members and would like to have at least 10 more.
As a member of the Sheriff’s Volunteer Posse you can be a part of Patrol Support Teams (PST) and Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT). Members will receive uniforms, training in disaster response, search and rescue, first aid, and much more.
The Strength of a community can be measured in its level of service to each other. The PCSO Posse is a great way to help you serve your community and become a part of something that is rewarding and needed.
In the last year the Pine County Sheriff’s Posse helped its community with over 2,000 volunteer hours!
Please stop in or give us a call! New Posse training is March 24 and 25th, call for details! 320-629-8380.
