I-94 Reopens Near Hudson After Terrible Tanker Crash
I-94 West near Hudson is open again after being closed for more than 12 hours Monday following a deadly crash. One person was killed and nearly 200 feet of highway was damaged by a gasoline tanker explosion.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation says the gas in the tanker burned the asphalt off the interstate. It says drivers using that stretch of road will have to be careful until repairs can be made.
As we reported Monday, just before 5:30am, a semi tanker was headed east on I-94 when it lost control, went through the median, crashed and caught fire killing the driver.
