Big Winter Storm Coming?

Monday, February 27th, 2012 at 8:04 am

It’s been an abnormally mild winter in East Central Minnesota and Northwest Wisconsin, but that could be changing soon. A snowstorm could hit the area at some point Tuesday and bring sizable amounts snow.

Folks up north in Minnesota already got their first big blast of the year Sunday, with as many as 11 inches reported at Grand Marais. The southern end of the snow storm was about three hours south in Duluth, with the towns like Esko reporting a little over an inch.

Make sure you listen to WCMP tomorrow morning as we will have information on the upcoming storm, where it is tracking, and also the latest on cancellations – should there be any.
