On Thursday night we had a special High School Hockey presentation for you on 100.9 Cool Country. The Moose Lake Area Rebels traveled to the #1 team in the state in Class A, the undefeated Hermantown Hawks. The game wasn’t as close as we’d hoped with the Hawks winning 11-1, but it was still fun to listen to. Here’s the replay with Josh Miggler on the mic!
Moose Lake area dominated the Mora / Hinckley-Finlayson Mustangs on Tuesday night in the opening round of the Section 5A playoffs. The Rebels won 9-1 at Mora, skating the same building where they had lost less than two weeks before. The Rebels got four goals in the opening period and four more goals in the second to put the game away. Tyler Cisar finished with a hat trick, and Stephen Gassert had two goals himself.
