Two men were sentenced to ten years in prison for growing marijuana in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest.

According to federal prosecutors, 19-year-old Jose Esqueda-Garcia and 21-year-old Moises Lopez-Ontiveros were arrested last year in a bust that found more than 9,400 marijuana plants. Both of the men pleaded guilty to conspiracy to manufacture marijuana charges.
