Gainor & Logan Discuss Armed Robbery, Internal Investigation (Audio)

Thursday, February 9th, 2012 at 6:57 am

It was a busy week for Pine City Pioneer editor Mike Gainor as he prepared the latest edition of the newspaper. Gainor made some time to stop by WCMP for his weekly radio appearance though, and discussed several topics including the attempted armed robbery that took place in Pine City on Monday morning.

Gainor also shared some information about the year-long internal investigation by the Pine County Sheriff’s Office, and says that the Bureau of Criminal has also gotten involved.

In addition to these topics, our Jesse Logan wished mike a Happy Valentines Day!

    Mr. Gainor
Get you nose out of the Sheriffs back pocket and concentrate on your paper, you getting redundant, and making an idiot of yourself>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

    Dear Pine County Tax Payer,

Your comment isn’t supported by any examples. Mr. Gainor has done an excellent job of reporting the news in this community, further doing so by participating in this weekly radio show.

Perhaps “get you nose” into what’s going on before making comments like these.

I would like Mr. Gainor to ask the Sheriff why he was fired from the Pine County Sheriffs Dept. and the Minneapolis Police Dept. Also why none of his 11 “investigations” resulted in anything. I would be happy if Mr. Gainor actually did some reporting.

BRoyalton, you are making this stuff up! I rarely read out of town papers/online. FACT: I was at Cole’s RETIREMENT party from the Minneapolis Police Department. I worked with him and still work there, he was never fired. You are part of the problem and are spreading vicious rumors and lies. You need to start listening to people who tell the truth, not people who spread these lies about good people. FACT: Cole filed a complaint against the previous administration in Pine County and that’s why they let him go, even his termination got reversed in the end so get over it. So happy for everyone in Pine County, you have a very ethical Sheriff working for you!
