Loading ...Siren Dragons Win West Lakeland, Now 18-0 (Audio)
On Tuesday night the Siren Dragons boys basketball team did something they haven’t done in more than 20 years: they won an outright Conference Championship. Siren is now 18-0 after defeating Luck last night 46-41, and are a perfect 10-0 in the West Lakeland Conference.
After the win, Dragons coach Jon Ruud described the hard fought victory as the “toughest game we’ve been in this year” and was proud of his team’s accomplishment. Ruud also had high praise for senior Andrew Brown, who stepped up his game with an eye-popping 29 points to key the victory. Both Ruud and Brown joined our Jesse Logan for a lengthy postgame interview.
