Pine County Sheriff’s Report: Big Meth Bust

Friday, January 27th, 2012 at 6:10 am

Pine County Sheriff Robin Cole was back in again for his weekly report on WCMP. This week was a very busy one for the Sheriff’s Office, with a string of burglaries in northern Pine County, the promotion of long time deputy Robert Ouverson to Sergeant and a wild assault case where a disgruntled land owner aimed a shotgun at the head of someone he really wanted off his land.

Cole also told us about a huge meth bust (street value near $50K) and how the drug task force is now investigating it. It also sounds like the ice race is a go on Pokegama Lake this weekend.
