Flood Risks Expected To Be Down This Spring

The National Weather Service says the risk of spring flooding is very low on the on the Chippewa River in western Wisconsin this spring. The same agency also predicts low risks of flood on the Minnesota, Mississippi and St. Croix Rivers in Minnesota.

In an updated flood forecast released Thursday, the Weather Service says the outlook is for normal to below normal risks along those rivers and their tributaries due to the ongoing snow drought across the region.
