Walker Traveling Around State On “Wisconsin Working” Tour
Governor Scott Walker will travel to Eau Claire today to discuss the first phase of his “Wisconsin Working” agenda.
He says the plan contains a number of long-term strategies to assist both job seekers and employers.
Walker will make a speech at Phillips Plastics as he’s on a tour of the state to announce the plan.
Monday the governor said the first part of the plan will zero in on job fairs in hopes of adding more of them.
Another part of Walker’s plan is to jump start jobs for military veterans.
Walker says he’s also working on plans to make certain higher education programs cheaper so people can more easily afford a higher level of schooling.
