Friday night the Siren Dragons hosted the Webster Tigers in both girls and boys hoops.

The girls game got off to a slow start for the Dragons, they trailed 6-1 early on in the first quarter. Siren’s defense was able to turn up the heat and put pressure on the Tigers forcing multiple turnovers which in turn led to the Dragons getting hot from the field. At the half they led the Tigers 31-19 and they didn’t look back from there. Siren improved their record to 5-3 with the 51-26 win over Webster. The Dragons were led in scoring by Mackenzie Smith with 17 points, including five three-pointers.

After the game Jesse Logan interviewed Siren coach Ryan Karsten, and got his thoughts on how he thought his team played in the win.
