East Central Energy Reporting Power Restored Near Mora

New Year’s Eve brought us a new year along with our first substantial snow of the winter and strong winds on New Year’s Day. The winter weather is causing problems for residents around the Mora area.

East Central Energy reported in the early afternoon on Sunday that about 520 of its customers were without power. The power outages were located near the northern side of Mora.

The power has been restored. If you experience any power outages you can report them by calling 1-800-254-7944.

Just a reminder stay safe and stay away from downed power lines and anything that may be in contact with the line.
