Two suspects have gotten away with an undisclosed amount of money after an armed robbery in Chippewa County.

The Chippewa County Sheriff’s Department says a little before 7 p.m. last night, two people wearing masks entered the G and 64 County Store near Cornell. The two suspects were armed, but they’re still determining what kind of weapon was displayed to the cashier. Apparently one customer and a clerk were in the store at the time, but no on was hurt.

WEAU reports the suspects got away with an undisclosed amount of money, and were seen leaving on Highway G going south.

The Chippewa County Sheriff’s Department is asking you to inform them if you have any information on the robbery.
