Sunday Night Crash Closes Chippewa County Highway

One person has been taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash in Chippewa County Sunday night.

The Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office says one lane was blocked on Highway 29 at County Highway G, going eastbound near Boyd.

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation says the crash happened around 8:45 Sunday night.

No word on any injuries but lanes reopened around 10:45 p.m.
