Pine City School Board Results

Wally Connaker, Tim Geisler, Wendy Leibel, & Roger Rutgers were elected to the Pine City School Board on Tuesday night. Five names were on the ballot for four seats on the board, and the one with the least votes was incumbent Bonnie Menigo.

Tim Geisler was the highest vote getter in the election, which was held at Pine City High School. The results are as follows:

    Thank you Bonnie for all your years of good work on the school board. I know being on the school board is many times a thankless job. Please know that I appreciate all you did over the years and your committment to the Pine city Schools!

    I agree wholeheartedly with Julie Werner. The school district suffers a huge loss with Bonnie going off the board. I could go into the whys and the deficiencies of the school board electoral process, but to keep it positive, I’ll just say thanks for your service to the school district, Bonnie!

    I would like to say that I am glad we have new members on the board. It will be extremely healthy for Pine City Schools to allow a few new faces and opinions into the decision making. However, I am grateful for all persons who put Pine City in their best interest.
