School Board Elections Tuesday in Pine City, Braham

Hard to believe, but it’s now less than a year away from the huge presidential election of 2012. While the Republican primaries will begin soon, local folks have a different election to remember today. School Board Elections will take place in Pine City on Tuesday, November 8th from 7 AM to 8 PM. All voting will take place in the multipurpose room at Pine City High School.

There are five candidates running for four positions this year, each for a term of four years. On the ballot will be Wally Connaker, Tim Geisler, Wendy Leibel, Bonnie Menigo and Roger Rutgers.

A similar school board election is also taking place in Braham today, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Braham Area High School. However, in that election, only four candidates have filed for the office, and thus it’s expected that Anthony Cuda, Angie Flowers, Robert W. Hughes, and Brian D. Ramthun will all be elected.
