Recall Effort Of Governor Walker Underway

The first effort to recall Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker is underway.

Friday, the first date to file a petition for a recall, Wisconsin state elections officials received paperwork to recall Gov. Walker. In order to have a recall election, organizers must get 540,000 signatures in 60 days.

According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the petition was filed by David Brandt of Muskego and the “Close Friends to Recall Walker” committee.

Along with the recall efforts of Brandt, the Wisconsin Democratic Party will start its recall effort on November 15.
