A fugitive that spent most of Friday hiding in a corn field in Chisago County has been arrested in Pine County.

According to the U.S. Marshal’s Office, 26-year-old Shawn Michael Olthoff was arrested at about 8:15am Saturday at a trailer home near Beroun.

The Associated Press reports Olthoff is being held in the Ramsey County Jail on a supervised released violation. He is scheduled to appear in court on Monday and is also wanted for questioning in connection with a series of recent armed robberies.

On Friday, authorities started a massive manhunt for Olthoff after he fled officers who were attempting to arrest him in North Branch on a warrant they were looking to execute.
