6-Year Old Boy Dies After Choking At Clayton School

Earlier this week in Polk County a child died after choking at school.

The Clayton Police Department says the incident happened Tuesday in the Clayton school cafeteria. Officers say they received a report of a boy choking in the school cafeteria. Griffin Randall, 6, was taken to the Amery Medical Center by ambulance where he later died.

Police say a cause of death has not been determined.

Officers told WEAU that say they don’t suspect foul play, and they say the school’s staff responded quickly and did everything they could to save the boys life.
