A Princeton Minnesota man is dead after he crashed his motorcycle in Wisconsin.

The Pierce County Sheriff’s Department says the accident happened on Sunday around 3:45 p.m. near Highway 63 in Trenton Township.

Officials says an initial investigation shows that a motorcycle was driving northbound when it was rear-ended by another motorcycle, driven by Ronald J. Bauman, 51, from Princeton, MN. The other motorcyclist wasn’t injured, but Bauman was hurt badly and was taken to Fairview Red Wing Medical Center. The Associated Press reports Bauman was later airlifted to Regions Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
