Amery Man, Woman Injured In Motorcycle Accident

An Amery man and woman were injured in a motorcycle accident on Saturday afternoon according to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department.

The crash happened just before 3:00 p.m. Saturday on Highway 29 near County Road CC in the Village of Spring Valley.

Deputies say 51-year-old Larry Coleman of Amery slowed down for a stopped vehicle that was turning into a driveway when his motorcycle turned onto its side.

The motorcycle came to a stop in the lane of traffic, and both Coleman and his passenger, 48-year-old Lorna Coleman also of Amery, were taken to the hospital .
