New Study Says Americans Drove Drunk 112 Million Times Last Year
A new study released Tuesday by the Centers for Disease Control says that Americans drove drunk 112 million times last year. Researchers say it equates to almost 300,000 drinking and driving incidents each day. Men were responsible for 81% of drunk driving offenses, and one-third of all incidents involved men aged 21 to 34.
Nearly 11,000 people die each year in alcohol related crashes.
