The public, media representatives, and government officials and employees still have time to register online for the free Department of Justice seminars on the public records and open meetings laws with Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen and Assistant Attorneys General.

Local officials and Wisconsin residents frequently contact the State Programs, Administration and Revenue (SPAR) unit with specific questions on the state’s public records and open meetings laws.  These upcoming seminars offer the chance to learn more about the laws from Assistant Attorneys General.

The three-hour, live programs will be held the afternoons of Monday, October 3rd (Waukesha) and Monday, October 10th (Madison).  A webinar also is scheduled for Thursday, October 20th.

When registering, provide your: name, title, email address, organization/agency, zip code and which seminar you plan to attend.
