Three major construction projects on Interstate 35 are delayed because of the Minnesota government shutdown earlier this year.

Mn DOT says the Mega-Project will be completed this November. It was originally supposed to end this month but was delayed due to the government shutdown. Apparently only minor landscaping work will take place next spring.

WDIO of Duluth reports The I-35 construction project near Moose Lake will plague drivers again next summer. It was supposed to be completed this fall, but the deadline has been extended into next year.

The repavement project near Split Rock Lighthouse on the North Shore will be completed later this month after a two month delay. MnDOT said all the delays are due to the Minnesota government shutdown.
