Informational Meeting About “A Place For You” To Take Place Tuesday Night (Audio)

On Tuesday, September 6th the Board Members for “A Place For Your” have invited all residents and businesses owners in the City of Pine City to join them for a Community meeting to hear why there is a need for a homeless shelter in Pine City, as well as provide citizens with the opportunity to express their ideas, comments and concerns.

Deacon Eugene Biever and Mary Kay Sloan are both board members for the newly proposed shelter, and they spoke with our Mike Hughes during the morning show on Tuesday.

The mission for “A Place for You” is to provide a safe place for people in distress that provides for basic needs and offers resources to provide life-changing alternatives while respecting the inherent goodness and dignity of each individuals. Services will be provided in a respectful, non-discriminitory setting.
