Benefit For Cambridge Firefighter Chip Imker

Cambridge Firefighter Chip Imker was killed from a fall in late May. The 35-year old Imker was a volunteer member of the Cambridge Fire Department and was fatally injured in a fall while training in rope rescues.

We reported that Imker fell about six to eight feet onto a concrete surface at the fire hall.

A benefit for Imker’s long-time girlfriend and their two children has been scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 10 from 3-10pm at the Cambridge Fire Hall.

A facebook post on the CFD website says the benefit will feature:

Beer and Wine Cooler Garden- Bud, Mich Golden Light, Coors Light, $2/can

Fireman’s marinated pork chop’s on a stick, beans with a pop/water for $5

Dunk a Fireman or (?) Tank……3 throws for $2

Bounce House for the kids with other kids activities
