Hunter’s Ed Classes In Wisconsin End in September

Tuesday, August 16th, 2011 at 11:08 am

The clock is ticking on hunter education courses in Wisconsin.

State wildlife officials are warning would-be hunters that most classes end in September because volunteer instructors want to get out and hunt during the fall.

A list of the remaining classes is available on the Department of Natural Resources website’s safety courses page. Classes are added and removed daily.

Anyone born on or after Jan. 1, 1973, must complete a hunter education course to buy a hunting license in Wisconsin.
