Bicyclist Taken To Hospital After Being Hit By Car

A St. Cloud man was taken to the hospital after being struck by a car while riding his bike.

According to police, 55-year-old Jerry Klick of St. Cloud was riding his bike westbound on East St. Germain when he was hit by a car driven by 62-year-old Frank Freudenrich. Police said that Freudenrich didn’t completely stop at a stop sign. Klick had to be freed from underneath the car by the fire department and Gold Cross Ambulance personnel. Klick’s injuries are non-life threatening, but he was taken to St. Cloud Hospital.

Freudenrich was issued a citation for failing to yield for a stop sign.
