Minnesota Man Accused Of Kidnapping Wife Found In Mexico

Authorities say 40-year-old Timothy Glen Caskey was arrested in Mexico on Monday afternoon. The FBI says Caskey was arrested Monday by Mexican state police officers at a bank in Matamoros.

Timothy Caskey is accused of kidnapping his estranged wife three weeks ago. Police say Caskey forced his wife into his truck in her neighborhood in Virginia. Caskey’s wife, Roberta Lynn Caskey,  has been found safe according to authorities.

Caskey is also wanted in connection with a car theft in Texas and is a person of interest in a bank robbery in Kansas.

The FBI says Roberta Caskey appeared distraught and will be returned to Minnesota.

The Associated Press reports that the FBI will extradite Caskey to the U.S. the accused man will have an initial federal court appearance in San Antonio.

    Ok, Virginia Minnesota… cuz they look like they could maybe be from Virginia back hills.- Glad the wife is home safe, but San Antonio can keep the dude.
