NFL fans the nation over were rejoicing yesterday as the news became official and labor peace has been restored in the National Football League for the next 10 years.

Yes, the players accepted the owners offer and the lockout has been lifted. This means NFL activity begins today. Teams can now begin signing their draft picks, undrafted free agents, and teams can also begin trading. Players are expected to begin showing up to the team facilities to begin workouts and training camps all over the league are opening up Wednesday through Sunday.  Players can be released by teams on Thursday, and full free agency begins on Friday.

Both Green Bay and Minnesota are expected to begin their camps on time, on Friday as well.

Loyal listeners know that 100.9 Cool Country is the official home of the Minnesota Vikings in our area, and 105.7 Classic Hits carries all Green Bay Packers games.

We will also have locally produced programming based around both teams. More information to follow.
