3 Dead After Car Goes Into River

Three people were killed after a car went into the Sauk River early Monday morning.

According to the St. Cloud Police, the car was carrying five people. It was found under a bridge on the 7000 block of County Road 75 just after 2am. One of the passengers was a 20-year-old man from St. Cloud who was pronounced dead at the scene. A 13-year-old girl and a 5-year-old boy were taken to St. Cloud Hospital, where both were pronounced dead.

Police also said that there was a 33-year-old St. Cloud man that sustained life-threatening injuries. A 20-year-old Moorhead man was also in the car, but he wasn’t seriously injured.

The accident in still under investigation.
