Crawford Calls In For Budget Debate Update (Audio)

State Rep. Roger Crawford called in today to give us the latest in the ongoing debate in Minnesota to attempt to bridge the $1.8 billion gap.

He says the debate is continuing.

    So the GOP was willing to cut the proposed tax break on the 2 LOWEST brackets, which again is putting the middle to lower income at the disadvantage.
    The government shut down will not hurt the higher income bracket at all, they want it to happen, the state workers at risk for layoffs is effecting the middle to lower income not the higher income earners which is all the GOP is concerned about.
