Anti-Abortion Group Withdraw Suit Against St. Michael-Albertville Schools
The student group that opposes abortion has withdrawn its lawsuit against the St. Michael-Albertville school district. The All Life Is Valuable group had originally claimed that it was denied the same rights as other groups and clubs at the school. The school district said that the group was given the same rights as other groups at the school, and that they were allowed to meet there. There may have been confusion about the group meeting during the school day, Assistant Superintendent Jim Behle said.
The lawsuit was filed in federal court in April and voluntary dismissal of the suit was filed on Thursday.
The All Life Is Valuable group focuses on issues like abortion, abstinence and politics.
