Details Announced On Memorial Services For Killebrew
The Minnesota Twins and the family of Harmon Killebrew have announced their plans for a memorial service next Thursday at Target Field that will be open to the public.
Killebrew passed away Tuesday morning at his home in Scottsdale, Arizona. The Hall of Fame baseball player was battling esophageal cancer.
The funeral for Killebrew is scheduled for Friday at the Christ’s Church of the Valley in Peoria, Arizona. The family says his service is open to the public.
On Monday, the family has scheduled a burial service in Payette, Idaho, which is not open to the public.
The Twins will honor the baseball legend in a memorial service Thursday, May 26th from Target Field, beginning at 7 p.m.
The team told KSTP of St. Paul that additional details surrounding Killebrew’s memorial service will be announced at a later date.
