Wisconsin Trail Reopens After Storm
Wisconsin State officials have reopened a state trail near the listening area after a storm sent trees crashing across it.
The 74-mile Tuscobia State Trail runs from Rice Lake to Park Falls. It cuts through parts of Barron, Washburn, Sawyer and Price counties.
The state DNR says the thunderstorm last week had winds of up to 55 miles per hour, and that caused the damage. The storm toppled trees along a 30-mile section of the trail east of Winter.
Trail officials want people to know that they’ve removed the trees and the trail is safe again for all users.
