Man Accused Of Running Down Student With His Car Is Acquitted
A man who was accused of trying to run down a student with his vehicle at Central High School in Duluth has been acquitted. Nathan Drift was accused of trying to run down a student that he thought was part of a group that was harassing his fiance’s daughter. Drift had driven his fiance’s daughter to school last November when he got into a confrontation with a student. Drift said that the student attacked his vehicle.
Jurors deliberated for about two hours Friday before acquitting Drift on all charges.
