Author Will Weaver Coming To Pine City Library

On Wednesday, April 27 at 6:30 pm stop by the Pine City Public Library and listen as Minnesota adult and teen author, Will Weaver, will talk about his journey as a writer of both adult and young adult fiction. He was born and currently lives in northern Minnesota and was formerly an English professor at Bemidji State University. He was scheduled to visit the Pine City Public Library in March but due to a late March snowstorm was postponed and rescheduled for April 27.

His story, “Gravestone Made of Wheat” was made into an independent feature film, Sweet Land, starring Ned Beatty. Mr. Weaver is also a successful writer of books for young adults including Memory Boy, Full Service, Defect and Saturday Night Dirt.
