East Central Library Presents Jazz Singer Christine Rosholt Coming Soon
East Central Regional Library and the MN Historical Society are proud to present Christine Rosholt and Band.
“With a theater background that extends to her youthful performances with the Children’s Theatre Company, local jazz singer Christine Rosholt injects a natural effervescence into the jazz standards she loves. Her phrasing has a dewy freshness that helps define classic tunes from the likes of Jobim, Cole Porter, Harold Arlen, and Fats Waller with sparkling clarity.” – Rick Mason, City Pages Christine and her band celebrate the best of jazz from the 1930′s and 40′s.
A Little More about Christine Rosholt: Christine frequently performs around the Twin Cities at the Dakota Jazz Club, Orchestra Hall, Ordway Center for the Performing Arts, and the Pantages. She is included in Scott Yanow’s compendium of the nation’s top jazz vocalists, The Jazz Singers.
Christine Rosholt and Band will be performing at the Wyoming Area Giese Memorial Library on Saturday, April 2nd @ 11am.
