Friday, January 14th, 2011 at 11:18 am

St. Paul Police are looking for at least two suspects after an armored car driver was robbed while stocking an ATM Friday morning near the intersection of Energy Park Drive and Lexington.

The driver for Dunbar Armored was servicing an ATM at a Super America when he was approached by a masked gunman. The two became engaged in a struggle, during which the suspect managed to wrestle away the driver’s gun.

The gunman escaped with the stolen firearm and $70,000 in cash. Witnesses say he ran outside the store and jumped into a dark SUV, described as a newer model made between 2000 and 2005.

Police say their suspect is a black male in his 30’s, medium to heavy build, dressed all in black.

As of 8 a.m. there were no suspects in custody. Anyone with information is asked to call St. Paul Police.
