Cole, Pangerl, Blackwell Sworn In (Audio, Pictures Included)

On Monday, Jan. 3 Pine County saw the swearing in of new Sheriff Robin Cole and his Chief Deputy Steve Blackwell, as well as new Pine County Commissioner Mitch Pangerl.

The Boardroom at the courthouse was packed as each man placed his left hand on the Bible and repeated after Judge Krista Martin addressed the crowd before swearing each man into his position as public servant.

Mitch Pangerl was the first to be sworn in. Here he is signing the documents after taking the oath.

Sheriff Cole was the second to take the oath. He also signed the documents immediately after being sworn in. Sheriff Cole then announced Steve Blackwell as his Chief Deputy.
