“Pavrotti Of Gospel” To Sing Tonight At Hardy Center
Those attending tonight’s Robert Robinson concert in Cambridge are in for a real treat. Robinson has been dubbed “Minnesota’s Master Male Vocalist” by the Minneapolis Star Tribune, and he will be joined by an eight-piece ensemble for a Christmas concert that promises to be memorable.
When the Richard G. Hardy Performing Arts Center, located inside the Cambridge-Isanti High School, was forced to cancel Robinson’s initial concert back on Dec. 11 due to extreme weather it wasn’t immediately known if the show would be rescheduled. However, the Hardy Center was able to reschedule the concert for tonight: more information can be found here.
Robinson has served as Executive and Artistic Director of the Twin Cities Community Gospel Choir for 20 years now, and has performed with artists such as Aretha Franklin, Andrae Crouch, Kenny Loggins, the Sounds of Blackness, Bobby McFerrin, Barry Manilow, Jermaine Jackson and others.
Robinson has been called the “Pavrotti of Gospel” and will also be promoting his new 2010 CD release “Signature” on this, his 5th annual holiday tour.
